Everton FC manager Carlo Ancelotti will hope to be the second team after Manchester United to inflict defeat upon Guardiola’s Manchester City side as they face off later today.
The Toffee manager says he intends to use the same tactics he used when one of his previously managed teams, Real Madrid, faced Barcelona’s Lionel Messi against Manchester City in today’s FA Cup match.
Both teams met last month, but the current EPL leader came out on top with a 3 – 1 win in the English Premier League.
However, Ancelotti believes a new tactic from his time in Spain will damage Guardiola’s side.
Ancelotti has managed several clubs worldwide like Chelsea, Napoli, and Real Madrid, among others, hopes that the Toffees would adapt to another tactic during this match.
He also added that his team needs to unite throughout the game if they deserve a win.
Our prediction: Manchester City to advance.
